Did you have a fab Labor Day? I bet everyone looked phenomenal! I know I did!!! A lot are probably asking yourself....Riich,what calendar are you looking at? todays not Friday!!! Why didn't you post anything for us on Friday??? Well, I have to say I was feeling a bit discouraged. It didn't seem like anyone missed my posts. I thought to myself: is anyone really reading any of this? is my advice reaching my gurrlz that need my help? Then it hit me...Riich, you have to take yourself out of the equation and continue helping. Helping my gurrlz see that there are infinite options when it comes to fashion and accessories. Even if I've only helped one person turn on that swarovski encrusted light bulb on top their head. Even if I've helped one person realize that there are other colors beside black. I can rest assured that as a blogger and a profound lover of fashion, i've done my job. On todays menu, I serve you: The need for Tweed and Hats off to You!
THE NEED FOR TWEED
Tweed is in Hunn-ie! Yes! Yes! Yes! (finger snap) Even in Florida weather! Theres something about tweed that screams luxury & sophistication. Very Chanel, for those of you who do not know what tweed is. It's one of her signature fabrics. This style can be worn both day and night. Yes, night as in past 8:00 P.M. FYI: IF AFTER LOOKING AT THE PICTURES BELOW YOU'RE THINKING....HMMM...HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WEAR A 2 PIECE TWEED OUTFIT TO THE CLUB?!?....GUESS WHAT???...IMMA TELL YOU A SECRET...COME CLOSER TO YOUR COMPUTER SCREEN AND READ THIS OUT LOUD: THERE ARE OTHER PLACES TO GO OTHER THAN THE CLUB!!!! Hats are not only for the guys. In fact the fall trend overseas is big Carmen Sandiego style hats for the fall season. Yes, Gurrl, I said Carmen Sandiego. You know that detective woman who was the more fashionable version of "Where's Waldo." Her theme song was catchy and cute! See ...now I wanna Youtube her! Carmen Sandiego wore these JLo style hats (before JLO...o-kay!) year round day and night. She looked fabulous. These hats don't have to be the huge version you see out at the beach or around the pool. They give you a dramatic feel without any actual drama. Below I've paired them with different looks.
